fuel leak

Hello everyone first post, just discovered this site. Our first cold morning here in oklahoma 26 degrees. Started my 1999 f-350 and went back in the house to let it warm up, came back out to go to work and there was a puddle of fuel on the cement under motor, backed up to check out and could not find where the leak was coming from. Then as quick as it started leaking it quit, I assume when motor got warm might have had something to do with it. Any one else had a problem like this or have any ideas as to my problem. Thanks for any help.

Howdy j-man, welcome to Ford Truck Enthusiasts.

I would guess that the o-rings for the fuel filter drain needed a little heat to get sealed up. That's about the only place fuel doesn't travel through a threaded fitting.
