The 6's are done with the engine off, so no mess. The Ford and bowtie V8s with the stamped stud mounted rockers are messy to do as they are done with the engine running and oil flies everywhere. I used to have a set of clips that would stop a lot of the mess.
I had a 6 I rebuilt in my 57 Ford SW and never needed to readjust them once they were right.

Ah, will be easy if you can do it with the engine off. I didn't remember that, but then when I was young only a old man would drive a six.
