Unhappy dud

Alright this all starts with me. a 15 yea old buyin a truck. it happened to be a 87 f150 with a 302 v8... so i bought the truck and it ran.... bout when you gave it alot of gas it sputterd and nuthing would happen then it got worse i would floor it and go no where whats happenin? is it worth the money to try and fix it?

hey i know about trucks i just wantto know if it could be my injectors fuel pump...has new plugs dont know what else i could do.... i can rev the pis out of it in nuetral but when i put it in gear it bogs

Injectors could be clogged, fuel filter may need changed, cats could be clogged. You may also have bad gas or alot of water in your gas. Your timing could be off. You may have other problems with your ignition system, too. There is a number of things it could be.

Is your check engine light on? Check for codes, even if it isn't.

You can also just jump the Self-Test IN wire to the SIG-RTN with a paper clip.
