Tapping power for a P.I.E.

I was just looking for some ideas as to where to hook up 12V and ground wire for the FRD04-Aux. This would be in a 05 fF150. Any ideas would be great.

I tapped mine into the cigarette lighter positive and ground, which is hot all of the time. Simple connection and close to where the P.I.E. box sits.

i would be carefull with this tho.... some cars cant handle the added current draw and u could pop fuses

As t_b did I also tapped into my cig. lighter and havent had any problems. There arent to many other placed you can get to with the length wire the give unless you splice on a longer wire.

What PIE device is this? an RCA to HU converter for iPod/XM/etc?

I have an 04 Heritage and looking for +12V to wire in a BlitzSafe RCA to HU adapter.
