Aww crap I don't know. What would it look like with no egr? This intake came off a 66 F100 that was one of my parts trucks a couple of years ago. Never tried to fire up the motor but don't think there is anything wrong with it.
Gashog, sorry to hear about your back injury. I Know all too well what that is all about.
The intake man that I have is off of a 1960 352. It is 2bbl and doesn't have the oval you described, indicating it is not egr. I don't think egr's were even around in 1960 were they? I also do have the heads to match. They will probably need rebuilding though, as the engine they came off of had a good amount of miles on it. Don't know if the heads were ever rebuilt during the life of the engine but can only assume.
Send me an e-mail if you want the stuff. I would be happy to see it go to a good home (instead of the dump).

I've been around. Hanging out in the Superduty & 67-72 forums. As for the swap, the FE engine forum has really helped me with a 390 rebuild that I just dropped into the old F100. Watched the price of gas go through the roof while I was going from big to bigger. Still working out the kinks in it. Got a carb that's too big, trying to make it work. Other than that, just trying to keep up with the Joneses.
The 2bbl I have is yours if you want it. My daughter works in Brentwood, at Baileys. I'll send her over with it if you want it.
Let me know.
No problem, I can get it to you tomorrow or Sunday. I don't exactly remember where you live, & since it sounds like you're not getting around too well I'll make it easy for you. You never know, with your knowledge of Fords & stuff, I might need a favor of my own sometime. Just shoot me a address and/or phome # and we'll get it done.
I became part of the brethren today. I figured it's the least I could do. I've already saved hundres of $$ just by eavesdropping on others. It was a no-brainer.
