Hello all,
I'm building a 347 stroker for my 89 F-150. . . I'm putting GT40P heads on it, and a wild cam(its stick shift). I need a torquey intake though, that flows way better than stock. Its EFI. Doesn't Edelbrock make a truck intake? I'm also looking for pretty high revs, as I'm making this a rollor block. What cam do you all suggest? I am converting to mass air. Thanks a mill
Timmy
You might want to think about looking into a set of used aftermarket heads, because the gt40p's are a little on the small side for a 347,(if you use 302 parts on a 347 you get 302 power) at the very least get the gt40p's ported.
Edelbrock truck intakes are useless on a performance motor, just ask some of the members on FTE. A cobra or explorer intake would be the most bang for the buck, but once again it would be money well spent to have them ported since it is for a 347.
For a cam give comp cams a call and they should point you in the right direction.
