leafspring question

I bought a set of 9 inch lift leafsprings from pacific leaf and axle in langley, it cost me over 1400 bux and they dont fit!! I have taken them back to the place and explained they were to short ( like 4 or 5 inches) and they told me to stretch them out. so i devised a contraption with some huge u bolts and some metal that stretched my leaf springs out so they would just fit on the hangers. my problem is that i flipped the rear shackle on my truck, so when i let the tension on my leafs off it pulls that hanger piece between the leaf and the hanger on the frame straight forward. should i take my leaf springs back and demand satistfaction? or should i move my front leaf hangers backwards and move my back hangers forwards? or will this mess with the geometry?

i hope some of this makes sence to someone

I'd take the springs back, rather than modify the truck. They are obviously the wrong springs, probably re-arched stockers or for another brand.

I'd agree with returning them. For that sort of money they should bolt in and fit correctly. You could get some springs that don't fit at the salvage yard for much le$$. You may want to ask them that. Moving the hangers is a lot of work and should'nt be necessary with $1400 springs.
