I have checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine, even the high voltage fuse under the hood. I thought it was the headlight switch and replaced it but the instrument lights and tail-running lights are still not working. Please anybody have the same problem? I need to go to work early AM and know I will get a ticket for no tail lights. I have Headlights, breaklights, turn signals, fourway flashers but the rest of the interior lights are gone. Please someone help

Reason: I want it to be a question
I had all my instrument cluster lights go out, but all I had to do was replace the lamps, and I'm assuming you are certain that the lamps don't need replacing. I haven't experienced a problem like yours if its something other than the bulbs. Good luck finding the problem...those electrical gremlins can be tricky.
You checked all the fuses? That sure sounds like blown fuses to me.
You turned the interior brightness all the way up with the lights on didn't you?
All the taillight bulbs good?
I checked all the fuses twice, they are all good. I turned the brightness dimmer panel switch all the way up, still no lights. Bulbs are good to I checked them also. I am at my wits end. not sure if there is a relay switch for them that I am not finding? very strange because I had them three days ago. went to turn on the light switch and nothing. with the door open I do get lights on beep when in the parking lights selection though.
Autozone will have wiring diagrams on their website, put in your truck and year and it will show you if there is a relay.
I would say try and see if those bulbs are getting power using a voltmeter.
very strange problem now. I replaced the headlight switch. But if the truck sits overnight the dashlights and tail lights wont work. But I warm the truck up for 15 minutes or so the dash lightsand tail lights come on Makes it a heck of a problem on winter mornings in the Pacific Northwest
Well...I pose this to the more knowledgeble guys, does anything else normally come on around 15 minutes after the truck starts?
It just strikes me as odd, it comes on, works fine, but if the truck sits it goes off and has to almost "warm up" before it works. I would swear it was waiting for the temperature to come up if there was a way for that to work. Sorry just rambling.
My instrument lights went out once. Replaced all the bulbs and still nothing finally traced it down to the dimmer switch. A connection had broken inside and was keeping the panel lights from coming on but everything worked fine. I took the switch apart and soldered it back together been fine ever since. As for the whole heating and then working thing sounds like a connection. When metal in the connection heats up it expands and the circuit is closed and the lights work kind of thing. I’m just guessing here.
