another question

a week or so ago i asked you all about a blower speed selector and you all answered me within record time and $16.75 later i have all speeds on my blower again thanks
Now when i was doin that job i noticed i have a grey vacuum plastic line that comes from below the fan box and runs to the left side of the motor ( four cylinder) and just hangs up under the exhaust manifold. I have no clue where this goes... any ideas??
TIA
Bob

My best guess would be that is the line that controls the heater bypass valve. The valve interupts the heater hose that goes to the fire wall.

Look around under the hood for a sticker that has the vac line routing on it, maybe you can trace it from there.

I like Jim's idea, the one on my 2000 is gray. Could also be the reservoir line which is under the coolant reservoir.
