nothing wrong at all. i did the NADA and it said $11,450
what should i ask? and what should i at the LEAST take for it? thanks all
I would say that the 11,450 is what NADA averages for similar vehicles sold. Was that the private seller price or retail from a dealer? If it's the private, then go to 12,500 and don't go lower than 11,500. Will give you a little room to make the buyer feel like they are getting a deal cause they talked you down. If it is retail, then I would say 11,500 is the top price since NADA allows for the dealer to put some $$ into it before selling.
the price is from NADA and says "average retail" so i guess that would mean the average among dealers? i dont know, i am trying to get all you alls opinions so i know about how much to sell for. thanks again
thanks all, i placed it up for sale with $11,500 on it. what would you think BOTTOM $$$ should be. i know people are going to try and get me to go lower. thanks
Your bottom price would depend on what it is worth to you. If you only want to get rid of it, may not be worth much. If ya love the truck and hate to let her go, then you will hold out for more $$.
Kelly Blue Book private party is quoted at www.kbb.com and according to your specs it runs around $8400 for your 99 F150. Then it's quoted for $10400 at retail price. So I would suggest you to start at between private party and retail which would be $9400. NADA is usually at high end where dealers usually quote their prices at. I don't go there, and it's pretty difficult selling at high end of price with the gas price nowdays. So good luck.
