Rear ends

This is gonna seem odd. I work for a railroad museum in golden colorado and we have in our collection 3 Galloping geese that we are currently restoring. They were built in the mid 30's out of parts the Rio grande southeren had sitting in their yard. The geese are converted cars from the 20, (but not Fords) The rear ends are split style Ford and the pinion stays in the long side. What we are trying to figgure out is Aprox what year they are, they all had mechanical brakes and torque tubes. The ring gear is aprox. 12.5 inches wide. Ratios is 6.66 Also we have one that had hyd. brakes and uses thrust washers on the side and spyder gears. We are assuming that was later but dont know by how much. We would like to convert all three to the washer style. The bearings in all of them start with a bb prefix. Any help would be much apprecatied Ive been beating my head on the wall on this for about an month
Thanks
