I NEED TO REBUILD MY REAR END on my 2001 F-350 ...I found metal in the fluid and I'm starting to get a noise that kicks in at about 42 mph.....any suggestions...how about a rebuild kit? ......best parts at lowest price? I have 145,000 miles....

Rear End Setup
Without a better description of what is wrong (pull cover and look), it would be hard to set a cost. It could just be a spider gear, the retainer bar or the gear housing. It could also be a simple inner wheel bearing. The only way to tell is to look. Remember, you will need a special set of tools to setup the rear and a lot of time. It is a complicated trial and error to get it set right. The wrong setup and you will be back in to it again.
