Got a call last night from a guy who has an 04, 6.0. Said it started pow-pow on a pull and the engine check light came on, he is running a Bully Dog Pup on it, got it home and took the Pup off, started it up and still had check light on, shut it off and put a code reader on it and it said Computer lock up, tried to start it again and nothing, total system is dead, no power to anything. Told me he unhooked batteries for the night to see if it will reset. Any ideas as to why the computer would lock everything up. Thanks
50jd60, i don'd belong here on the 6.0 fourum but read it often, tell your friend he should be WILLING TO OPEN HIS WALLET because a ENGINE TUNER VOIDS ALL WARRENTY'S. Is he going to try to STICK FORD MOTOR CO. with a repair bill for a MODDED engine ??? Play, YOU PAY. LEAVE E'M stock.

I tried to explain that Bullydog messes with part of the coding they should not be messing with.
You should stick with a Superchips or Diablo tuner.
Bullydog is not the right choice if you are warranty conscious.
You may want to acquire a new PCM and have it flashed by someone willing to help you out.
You can then install that PCM and go to Ford.
