One of my top three favourite bands.
In fact, I even have their first album as "The Blue Jays"
DYK, They will be playing in Vegas in a few days.
"Blasting.. bursting forth with the power of 10 billion butterfly sneezes,
man in his greatest hour has conquered ther wayward breezes,

breethe deep the gathering gloom, watch night fade from every room
"Red is gray and yellow white, but WE decide which is right, and which is an illusion."
Greatest rock band there is, IMHO, my absolute favorite. They've performed many times right near here, in Canandaigua, NY, and every time they're here I CAN'T MAKE IT!! Someday, though, someday...
a friend once qouted them in a way by writing "cold hearted all who rules the night" on his garage wall while drunk. i saw it a few days later, and asked about it. his answer was"you know ,thats part of that song knights in white satin"
after i got done laughing, i explained that it was actually cold hearted ORB. and explained how the song was refering about the moon. to this day, 25 years later, we still get a kick about it when someone askes about the old faded lettering on the wall.
Diffinitely one of my top favorite bands, along with Pink Floyd and Electric Light Orchestra; amongst others.
Speaking of Floyd, saw them on the tube for the G8 thingy, and it was great. Then a month or so ago, my buddy said that they were on PBS that night,
so waited, tuned in, and it was a tribute band, called the Austrailian Pink Floyd Show, Long story short, THESE GUYS SMOKED!!!! it was awesome, AND, I'm seeing them live in Seattle this monday night.... they perform the entire Dark Side of the Moon record, and some crowd favorites. CANT WAIT!!!!
Moody Blues are cool too.... good "mooooood" music wink wink.....candles.... fireplace a cracklin'..... hmmmmmmm better call up the woman me thinks.....
