"ludie" or anyone else for that matter, does anyone know where to find a test pipe for a stock 6.0 exhaust? I cant find any sponsors with it? I want to see the heat differential with just that change and then the straight piping of the muffler possibly later.
MBRP systems are designed to work with the stock Cat and they offer a Cat test pipe to fit in place of it. I don't know who else offers a Cat test pipe. You will need to contact an MBRP dealer to find out about it since there is a legal issue regarding the advertising of emmission delete items.
I now have a turbo back system. i went with the MBRP Cool Duals in 304 stainless steel. I have a Cat test pipe installed. The dual system does not have an option to remove the muffler, but I don't think I'd want to go without one now.
Though the MBRP does allow the use of the stock converter, somehow it doesnt work with the stock downpipe, or so I am told. Ludie had claimed to find one compatible with stock, it would be the first one I had heard of. I want one, I am curious of just the elimination and its effect on the EGT's. My Edge/Attitude and SCT stack create a little heat! However the Edge is the responsible culprit.
