I'm curious too. I have them in my 4.0. What are the symptoms of a "wrong" plug?

Rough idle, lack of power, poor takeoff. The best thing to do, is that if you know you don't have the right ones, get the correct ones. Make sure your wires are correct too, as bad wires can be a lot worse that the wrong plugs.

I resonce to "whats not OK about them", I'll tell you. The engine runs rough, there is an audible missfire at idle. The fuel economy declined, etc. They wre properly gapped, and if you checked them with an inducatance light, they were fireing cleanly, but that doesn't mean that they are properly igniteing the cumbustion chamber. The proplem was only able to be resolved by switching to OEM plugs.
