i was wondering in cold morning startups, no matter if the truck has sat overnite or a couple of days i get blue smoke on startup. it puffs blues smoke until i drive away and clears up right away. I have no power loss or anything like that just blue smoke. I have read it might be the o rings on the injecters leaking oil. Is this bad for the truck or can u just let the oil burn off.
thanks
the white smoke is somewhat normal on a cold start its not burning all the fuel its getting untill it warms up a little. if theres alot you may have a couple gowplugs that arnt working. and the blue smoke is problably oil from the injector orings. a little is ok depending on how many miles it may be time to replace the orings. if its clearing up and running good i wouldnt worry bout it.
