i have a 77 f250. i want to lower the rear just a little bit, not sure if i want to spend money on a new hanger or something like that, i was wondering if i remove one of the leafs, how much lower would it be. i just dont like the butt-high look, i want it to be a bit more level. besides my trucks never sees any rear loads. thanks.
I sure am glad this is a family oriented site.
Hard to leave that one alone.
I wrestled with this same thing and I'm still debating on the method I'll choose.
All I want to do is level it out, not gonna drop the front end.
I'll probably wait a few weeks and buy the lowering shackles from AIM.
Taking out a leaf just doesn't sound like a good option to me as I tow with my truck.
