sun pro tach

i need some wiring directions on a sunpro tach my frend gave me the tack and lost the directions to hook it up so i was wondeing if any 1 can help me i have 4 wires red,black,green,white im asuming red is hot and black is ground what about white and green im instaling it on a 1995 ford f150 302 thanks

Red - ignition
black - ground
white - illumination
green - tach input

ok so red goes to the ignition black is ground white i can prob hook that into the dash lights and green were should that hook to

ok theres 3 wires going into the igniton 2 above 1 below should i tap into 1 of those

Hook the red wire to a switched source that come on with the key. The white one hooks to the dash illumination, the black one is a ground, and the green one goes to the same wire on the coil that has the condensor/noise suppressor hooked to it.
