Question

turn signal

I have a 70 F100 that seems to be missing something that would catch the cam and turn it off when the wheel is turned. The ring on the back of the steering wheel is still there and has 3 screws which hold it in place. Is there something missing off of it that turns the cam back off or
what?

the cam is worn out. there should be plastic arms with nubs on them. over the years they wear off. a new cam 2 springs wires and 2 new crimp fittings is 10.95 from www.kragen.com type in turn signal

Thanks for the info. The cam has one of the arms left but no nubs. I will get one and replace it.
