is there a company out there that either sells a kit or can make my truck a removable hard top? or is there a way to do it your self?

I'm gonna guess you have to do it yourself or have a custom shop do it for you. Do you have the knowledge, tools, time, space and money to try a project like this?

this was a popular thing to do in the early 90's.the way i have seen it done has always been a one off custom deal.i helped a guy do his mini truck, its not a job to be tried if you are not a good bodyman and fabricator.the job looks cool when done right, but it looks terrible when done by a novice.i would suggest you find a body shop that has done this conversion, look at there work, specificallya removable roof they have done, pay attention to how they reattach the roof and the fastening points,it has to be a solid anchoring to the cab or it will rattle and leak, and how they reseal the roof, and decide from that if you really want to let them cut up your truck.-billy
