the injection pump is a stanadyne db2 for the international engine. I believe stanadyne also made the same style pump for the (gulp) chevy diesel. the engine does need an aux lift pump that is camshaft driven like a gas engine. this lift pump provides about 7 psi if fuel pressure to the injection pump. if there are 2 fuel tanks, there is probably a switch to select individual tanks mounted along the inner frame rail. you want to make sure the fuel filter is full upon installation. the engine has a glow plug system to provide heat to the precombustion chambers to aid in starting. are you having problems starting ? Also, dont crank on the starter too long at any one time, they overheat in a hurry.

It starts very well. I am in the process of studying this, many other uvo sites to see if I can learn enough to be confident enough to do the conversion myself. Any more tips will be appreciated.
