I have an "04 F-250 4x4 with the 5.4L gasoline engine and 21k miles. I'm looking for a recommendation of a Tuner to give me the most bang for the $$. I rarely tow with the truck and don't off-road. It's purely for highway use and hopefully some better gas mileage now that I am running oversized tires. The following mods have been done: 6.5" Pro Comp lift with dual MX6-Reservoir shocks, 37x13.5x17 Pro Comp XTerrain tires on 17x10 Diamo wheels, custom mandrel bent 2.75" Y-pipes, Gibson performance headers and full 3" Cat-back exhaust. Air Raid throttle body spacer, K&N air intake, and lots of audio & cosmetic goodies.
Some of the chats warn against the use of particular tuners. I would like to hear recommendations on which to buy and what to expect in terms of performance gains actually achieved by folks.
