like my post "canadian tire sucks" in general states my truck now has a terrible shake when in park and the brake is depressed. the mounts where replaced at canadain tire today. now it's worse than before.
any ideas as to what caused this, and how i can fix it
Btw, The problem is with the PERSON who did the work, not the company,it becomes a company problem when people complain right then and there about the work and can confront the employee right away.
I wouldn't blame C.T. for something an employee did unless they won't fix the problem free of charge.

Sometimes the engine/trans can be in a "bind".Loosen engine/trans mounting bolts a few turns.Move engine tranny around to a 'neutral' position by lifting with a hoist, large prybar,or by attempting to "powerbrake" in reverse and forward.I usually have the hood up so I can see the engine move.Do this a couple times then tighten all bolts.Of course you will have to block wheels & leave in neutral until bolts are tight. This will allow mounts to work like they should. This will solve a lot of odd vibration problems.Brian
well i think now i fixed it. it was a little of everything. i found a vaccun leak at the rear of the carbuator, losened the mounts like 79f3504x4 and powerbrake and turned a loose screw hidden in the mounts and the bad vibs seemed to almost disaper. and also my tranne gear indicator doesn't jump around much anymore. yay!
