What should i do for a turner? To many to choose from, What are all of your takes on the hyper tec, diablo, superchips, edge, etc.. wanting to get some feedback on all the different tuners. I have a 2006 f 350 CC Long bed Fx4 great truck love it ride great just looking for a tuner and some exhaust. Talked to stores who sells the tuners and I get a different answer every time. Seems like what ever they are geting the best deals on is the product they are going to push. Need some feedback from the everyday person. thanks

do gauges 4"turbo back exhaust, and purchase an SCT flasher and have someone make you a custom file that tunes your tranny to accept the extra hp gain and better shift points, If i could do it all over again id save my $800 I spent on the edge/juice with attitude, I also had to purchase the SCT anyway to stack it with the edge when I could have had the SCT do the same thing the edge does and tune the tranny all at the same time.
The new Edge Platinun Juice/Attitude is by far the king of the crop for the 6.0. It has all the new trans controls that allow you to tune it to shift the way you want to or you can go automatic and it will control the trans based on the HP setting you select. It also has a complete gauge set up that you need before you install any HP mods anyway, and they are the easiest to install as well. All you have to do is install the thermocouple for the pyro, everything else comes out of the Ford PCM! Finally it has the built in turbo timer to cool down your turbo based on either time or EGT temp, your choice etc. It will initally be expensive, but by the time you buy gauges, mounts etc etc and then a turbo timer too it's very very cost effective. Get it an MBRP exhaust system (that way you can keep the cat or eliminate it but still be able to bolt it back in if you have a warranty tought dealer) and a AFE PG 7 intale and you're set up to fly.
Call us if you want we will be glad to help you with questions etc, I have this set up on my truck and it is very very good.
I am with Mark on this one I have had this set up on my truck for almost 6,000 miles and it has been awesome!!! I also have a custom 4" exhaust that has a 4" down pipe and a AFE PG 7 intake. WOW!!!! Is all I and my buddies can say. It makes my buddies dad jealous everytime i spank him in his durmax with a edge on it also hehe I do have to admit that i just had a new tranny put in ,but I have had problems with my tranny since the day I bought it. So, I know it wasn't part of the module that effected it. The TC seized up and they couldn't get the tranny apart. But all is back and running like it was made for. MAN I LOVE THIS TRUCK 22,000 miles on the ODO. Truck is a 05 CC Lariat 4X4 SB 3 inch lift with american racing fuel wheels(black with chrome lip) on 315's. Did I mention that I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!
Hypertech is good for gas but too many good diesel tuners out there. SCT is the best bet now.
Hypertech is horrible on the gassers.
Their hemi tuner had one global 12 degree ignition timng change.
Nothing else. In a series of runs, it actually lost power over stock because the knock sensor pulls out all of the timing.
Some of their tunes are so bad, its like someone took 5 minutes and just clicked away at the ignition timing table, imported it into all of the stock files and called it a database.
Compare that to others who make changes to ETC, control timing correctly, tune the air/fuel curve, shift points, etc.
Most seasoned tuners call it "hyperjunk" with good reason.
