well the rtv silicone does not apply to the 03+ expy because the cover is no removable. that is why there is no a 3/8'' drain plug on the bottom. also to fill the rear it is now in front on the casting so it is very easy. no removing anyhting to get to it.

you will not need a special tool for the fuel filter on the 03, the fittings are friction fit & can be released & reconnected by hand.

no there are not. they still use the clips.

were there 2 blue half moon shaped clips inside the hose holding the filter in? those are the clips that need a tool. pulling them out without the tool is a bad idea.
