Radiator leak

I've got an 85 f-350 w/460 that has a radiator leak. The transmission was replaced a few weeks ago and when it was put back in they did not hook the radiator cooler back up. Now my radiator leaks where the top cooler line was hooked. It looks to me like the tranny shop just turned on the cooler line and twisted the fitting that is in the tank. It only leaks on the top of the fitting. Is there any cheap way to fix this. The truck is only used about 1500 miles a year.

Is it a metal or plastic radiator? If metal, drain it, clean the area well with a wire brush, fire up the propane torch and solder it. It is easy to do and beats paying a radiator shop big bucks to do it. I fix my own all the time.

If it is plastic, do the JB weld method but I haven't had much luck doing it that way. It seems to only work 50% of the time for me.
