I had the bruteforce and for a lot less $$ you can get a piece of 4" exhaust and a Napa 6637 filter to get more air in. I felt like the bruteforce filter let a lot of dust/dirt past it. 6637 is a paper filter but huge so let's in a lot of air. just my .02
I had a buddy that did this on his dodge and it worked great...!! Could you take a pic of how you did or give me a little more info. I would love to do it on mine...I have a stock 2000 7.3 F-250 4x4...I've deleted the muffler but thats it...Thanks
I'll try. I have a digital camera and I can get it downloaded to my computer but getting it on here may be a mystery. Anyone have easy instructions for that?

Right above the Post Reply button at the top left corner of the page is a "user CP" link. This is your user control panel. From there you can create/manage a gallery, create and edit a signature, change your password, etc. etc. It's all point and click stuff.
what i do is upload the pictures to a hosting service, i use www.photobucket.com ... it creates an online album for you, if you want to post a picture anywhere on the net, all you need do is go to your account, and copy/paste the URL and there you go, its posted. i have over 350 pics on my account.

I know what your talking about. There's nothing like the sound of a diesel spooling up and then the sound of a 5" straightpipe.
I second Hog Performance. Best Quality. Excellent service. Everything they make is T304 Stainless. I got my 4" Stainless Downpipe for $135 and pieced together the rest from airflowonline. I had some problems at first with Motorhave + Hog Performance but they both took care of me and I couldn't be happier.
great to see that you like the hosting service. that is a clean install. i think i am going to do that with mine too, eventually. all that hose that is ribbed is pretty turbulent. is that just a piece of 4'' 45* elbow? make sure you dont secure the filter down, the filter may need to move a few centimeters during engine torquing. you dont want it to pull out and suck in dirty air . also a week or so from now, recheck those hose clamps. mine loosened some (i guess it was conforming the rubber) and it was just laying in there, not secured.
Thanks, I used a piece of 4" exhaust 22 degrees. I just bought the piece and cut it to fit. Then I used steel wool on the inside and out. I think it was $25. Mine is not mounted, I just fits in there perfectly. I agree with the smooth ride for the air over the ribbed inlet. It does move however, the filter is rubbing on the hood a little. I can't rotate it down, so I will live with it. Had a open KN type in before and like you said, I felt there may be too much dirt. Changed all this with the Wicked Wheel install.
Next Question, In the User CP, I created a signature and now I cant get it to appear in my replies. I have the appropriate boxes checked in the User CP and on my replies. Any ideas?
it is below your post count to the right of all your posts. scroll over the word "signature". the reason it does not show at the bottom like mine does, is because i am a FTE supporter. a small fee of $15 yearly enables you to be a supporter. you get a blue "supporter" box beside your name, your signature is shown, and the bar on the left of advertisements is gone. plus you are allowed in the Club FTE section which is for members only.
i feel it is the best $15 you can spend on your truck. i did it a long time ago, and i hope you become a supporter too.
