Soo! is there a place to look up codes? I have had my scan tool for about a year and a half and it there's always some kind of hassle. For instance: i tried it on a friends Honda that was having problems and it did'nt pick up any codes, so i pulled a plug wire and the engine starts running funny, and still no code. I plug it into my truck and it makes my truck run bad, i emailed the company (Auterra) they said it only reads information and does not effect your vehicle (whatever). Thats just a couple examples, i know there are high end models that probably give less hassles, but seems like a cheap one can tell me what is stored in the vehicles computer! But my main question is about finding code descriptions, Where can find the vault!
i have an actron and when i had codes that were not listed, i called them and they gave me more info...you could probably call any manufacturer and tell them you have their product and need info on a code
I've never heard of those codes, what is the make, model and year of your truck? It just doesn't sound right to me. You say you have about 30 codes stored? I didn't know the PCM could store that many.
If there is an Autozone near you they will pull the codes for free. I suggest you give that a try.
