yes they 2000-2004 will interchange up intill the new 05's the 05's are differant but will interchange with 05 excusions, there is a guy on ebay with kits to make 2000-2004 look like an 2005. i put a super duty grill on my excursion to change the look!

I Just Went Through This When I Put A Grill On My Truck. The Only Thing That Is Different Is The Side Vents On The Sd And Excursion. So If You Order A Grill Insert, You Have To Order Specific For What You Have. If You Get A Complete Assembly, You Can Get Either For Your Truck. The 00-04 Will Interchange Only With 00-04. And The 05-06 Will Interchange Only With 05-06 Trucks. But I Think That The 05 Super Duty Has The Same Grill Anyway. Differance Is Painted Or Chrome. There Is No 06 Excursion????

excusion grills look differant than superduty's the x has an fine up and across grill here is a pic of a superduty in my x. definatlly not a stock x grill

jscarb2, i understand that you were talking about a grill assembly. thats why i said that(see above post)if CROSSCITY wanted the full assembly, that the 00-04 will interchange with each other, and the 05's will interchange with each other. there is no 06 X so there nothing to interchange. an 06 super duty will fit on an 05 sd or X. just two people meaning the exact same thing typing different words..no harm done.

no problem! just did not want him to thank that the x and super duty grill looked the same! i wish i had a pic of my stock 2000 grill it was waffle pattern is how i would describe it. where as the one in the pic is for a supper duty. only the 05 x and super duty's share the same grill, as far as i know.

jscarb2, yes, both 05's are the same. and also yes, the stock grill is like a square honeycomb pattern and the super duty is a wide 6 panel rectangle pattern. i thought that the whole discussion was about replacing either factory grill with an aftermarket one. i read the original post and interperated it wrong. my bad. i replaced my X grill with an aftermarket assembly.
