My 05 6L makes a bump bump sound almost like a shutter closing twice. This happens only when the engine is cold and seems louder with more boost. When the engine warms up it quits. Any ideas? Is it something that needs to be serviced?
Just out of curiosity, because it doesn't appear to be a problem, can anyone tell me what I am hearing. When I start the truck (2005) on cold mornings there is a sound emanating from the front near the turbo air inlet that sounds like an aerosol can being sprayed. I never noticed it on my 04, that doesn't mean it wasn't there though.
