the neutral start switch in the steering column isn,t working. how do i go about fixing it tks PS it,s 1978 f150 ranger

start switch
It's actually on the side of the transmission straddling the kickdown linkage. It's held on by 2 bolts and you'll have to disconnect the kickdown as well. The plug to the vehicle wiring harness is at the firewall near the tranny dipstick.
