Security Module
I was wondering if this problem had happen to anyone else with an 05 F-150 5.4 4X4. I was coming out of a store, and notice that my parking and fogs lights were blinking. I thought someone had bumped the truck and set off the alarm. I reset it and the remote control with no joy. I cranked up the truck the lights just keep on blinking, all the lights would blink if you turned them on. The radio and information center was also blinking. Also there was this ticking sound going along with blinking lights. So I drove it straight to ford dealer, and the service manager was quick to say or hazards is on, of course I had to come back with that the problem. Finally after about two hours, techs had just about had everything pulled out on the inside said the security module was bad and they did not have one in stock and had to get Ford to approve the repair. I did not realize that Ford does not even offer a rental car for repairs that had to be kept over night.
