77.5 front axle on an early 77??

i have a high pinion d44 lying around that came off of a 77.5 f250. will it bolt up to my early 77 with no mods?

yes it will...onlything is the early 77 should be low pinion...so you could have to shorten the driveshaft a bit....and the yokes may be different, i have seen them both with 1310's and 1330's

If you are going to use the devorced T-case and your truck is not lifted you might have a problem with front drive line rear trans. crossmenber interfearence.
