For what forum chatter is worth, I've seen it here before that centurion did not start doing the 4 door bronco's until sometime in the 80's, an people call their 70's ones centurions as a generic name and they are usually home brew creations. I have no way of knowing if that is true or not, but that was the consensus on a couple of other threads years ago.

There is a dealer in Martnsburg, WV, that had 2 of the late 80's 1/2 ton centurions and one 1996 superduty diesel centurion. All of them had a ton of rust and were not well taken care of.

what I do know about the 80's ones is that they didn't really graft "the back half of a bronco" onto the truck. They just made their own molds for the seal area and used a bronco top. They then cut the truck on the bedsides, cab roof, and back of the cab, and grafted the rear area onto the truck. they used a TON of bondo, and almost every one I've see, both locally and online, has big cracks running across the roof where the weld seam is, and rust underneath where the cracks have let water in. Its also very common to see bondo cracks where the quarter panels are joined together. The trucks had the stock bed floors cut out as well, and new ones welded in. All 3 of the trucks at the dealer had very heavy rust (through the floor boards and wheel tubs) throughout these weld seams. and be to honest, on all 3 of those trucks, the mentioned rust from the conversion seams was the only rust on the entire trucks. Which makes me think that even though people think "centurion" means it was professionally done, it doesn't really matter if centurion made the 70's ones or not, since their methods weren't much better than your typical body shop would do f they did one today, and apparently they didn't spend a dime on rustproofing.

I use this Batch Picture Resize
you download it to your computer desktop
then you can click and drag any photo over the picture-resize icon on your desktop
a box will pop-up if you want to customize anything (which you shouldn't have to )
just hit enter and it puts the re-sized photos back in the same folder you pulled it from
that simple
the new photo will have the same name with -800 or -400 behind it (depends what you resize it to)
if it's still to big you can take your resized pic and do it again to make it smaller if you want

Only paying Supporters can directly attach files to posts, the rest of us need to upload them to a hosting service (which can be FTE Albums if one so chooses) and then use the IMG code to make them appear inline in posts.

IMHO it's confusing in that the forum software offers to anyone to attach pictures, it just fails to work for non-supporters. C'est la vie, I guess.

Photobucket is the easiest to use.it resizes the pictures for you when you post them to other sites.

I hope it ain't hurt as well Bud. It had to have fluid in it when the kid brought it to you or he would have had to tow it. No one has said yet if it has a vacuum modulator or not. IDK for sure. But if it does and has no leaks than my thinking and experience says the diaphragm in the modulator has a hole in it and is sucking the fluid into the engine and burning it. Being it is a diesel you would not see the smoke from burning the ATF as I did on my A4OD. They can drive just fine and even shift fine if the diaphragm isn't torn to badly. But still eat ATF like crazy. One good thing is it will SUPER clean the combustion chambers now let be tell ya.

Will someone chime in and say if it has a vacuum modulator please.
