just tired of the back fenders getting peted with rocks and the front of the trailer. thinkin the molded ones would look nice. i got it easy with the flatbed just some big international ones that i trimmed down. they look sweet.
i have a set of four (check gallery) that are ford molded mud-flaps. i am probably going to get rid of the fronts eventually, my new tires im getting wont allow them to be on. they do work good. run about $100 for all four. installation was easy.
The molded ones do look nice, I also have a set, but the area they protect is relatively small. The back area of the fender out by the bumper will still get beat on.
i got them, just to protect my exhaust tip. nope. it still gets battered by alot of stuff. i had to run on a freshly tar-and-chipped road right after i got my system, and now the tip has alot of black tar dots all over it.
i have a set on the front and rear that say built ford tough with the ford logo.... try this link and see if it works... they are $22 a pair... i made brackets for them and mounted them on my mule... they look real good and they keep most of the muck off the fenders..!
i gotta read things more thoughouly.......i kept clinking on the link going dangit it dont work.....duhhhhh think the argon fumes are getting to my head today.....finishing up my new set of IC pipes.....
hmm thoose are pretty close but im wondering about the big old mudflaps still id like to keep that back fender from getting worse (we live down 2 miles of dg road soon to get recycled asphalt on it.)
