I have a few little thing's that are broken with my XP that have been wrong for a while but have not fixed yet! Not because of laziness or procrastination, but because of good ole "I'll get around to it" syndrome. Heres mine:
1. Drivers seat lower plastic trim pannel (door side) has a crack in it!
2. Drivers window motor (regulator) makes a binding sound when goin up!
3. Left Rear door lock doesent always go all the way up when button is pushed!
4. Drivers door control bezzel retaining clip is broke so the whole bezzel has a tendency to lift up ever so slightly (ooh thats annoying)
5. Theres this darn loud ticking sound coming from my left rear wheel when moving.
6. My engine is dirty as heck cause I'm paranoid about getting my COP's wet. Been down this road already! !
7. The darn "outside temp" display reads about 10-12 deg warmer than actual!
8. Pass side fog light is fogged with condensation!
9. Pass side seatbelt is all twisted up, (wife and her "expensive clothes")
well thats all I can think of right now, post your PITA I bet we have some of the same!
hey can any of u tell me whats the torque specs on new sparkplugs for an Lincoln Navigator??? if so pls email me at sayan94547@yahoo.com ASAP bc i want to change then very soon..i already have the plugs
I feel ya BoatCop. My beast suffers from syndromes 3 and 5 which you described. That wheel ticking is ticking me off!(lol) I wonder what the culprit is but I never have the time to look closely. Lastly the pinstriping on the left side of the truck is missing after my paintwork(see gallery) and I cannot find a matching replacement. The color code is: Light Prairie Tan MY98 (EB)? The ealer told me that they wont be able to get the part as it is no longer availible.
Anyway, I guess thats it for now. Oh yeah, now if I could just find the time to fix that annoying subwoofer rattle.

I've actually jacked up the rear end, spun the wheels in neutral and nothing but when the vehicles weight is placed back on the wheel there it is! I bet it's under the rear disk in the E-brake assembly!
I had a ticking in my right rear for about 40 miles, but I realized it was just a big rock lodged in the tire tread. I know this is of no help to you but at first I thought it was a real problem...
