i have a 90 f-350 with the efi 300, it will not start cold. the only way to start it is to pump the throttle(thats not right for a efi). i replaced the temp sen. thinking that it wasn't telling the computer to richen the mixure for cold start but no luck. any more ideas
I would try some "engine starter" spray at the air inlet....see if she kicks over then.
If so, I think it's safe to say it's somewhere in the fuel metering.
Please don't get offended....there's two senders, one for the gauge, the other for the computer....you want the latter.
no codes no lights i went to it today hit the key it fire right off no prob. but after i t sit there for 3 hours (it was cold again) it wouldn't start until i pumped the gas, it will try to start a little but it sounds like there not quite enough gas there. how do i check the fuel metering where are the two senders
I know diesels like the back of my hand but this gas burner is killing me.
