Check Engine Light
so the check engine light comes on very speraticly, as if it has a mind of its own. theres no consistensy between throwin the pedal to the wood, and not. i wondered if it was because of my exhaust. i bought it with w/o the muffler and just the two cats with the pipe ending at the rear wheel. for kicks and giggles, i put an air/fuel guage in, and again no real consistensy. is this a common deal?

The exhaust mods should make no difference on your speed density engine.
Did this start before or after the air/fuel gauge install?
What codes are you getting?
On a side note, mine did this off and on for a couple weeks one time, no codes, hasn't done it since and its been almost a year.
