Really need some engine wiring help

Working on an 85 F-150 2wd longbed, midyear production truck. My buddy robbed the engine out of this and a carbed 302 is going back in. It dont even have the distributor for the electronic ignition, just single wire to coil. now...he managed to severe a large harness that comes out just below the throttle cable. not sure if this was for tbi or what since it has an electric fuel pump. not much else is known about it. I have the alternator harness taken care of, lights, etc but i need to find out what goes where for my solenoid, ignition system, gauges, etc and i am completely in the dark on this since i dont even have a connector to try and match up. could anyone help me with some diagrams or pics or something. it's much appreciated...i'd like to get it started by saturday as the motor and mechanical is about done. i just gotta decide what to do about the electric fuel pump when it has a mechanical on the block.

Find a red/lightblue wire. This wire comes from the neutral start switch, and will have power when you turn the key over to start. This wire needs to go to the small terminal on the starter relay on the fender.

See if you can find a white/lightblue. See if this has power when the key is in run. If it does, this is the ignition hot wire.

Go to the store and buy a large white resistor for a chrysler product that goes to the distributor. Hook the white/lightblue to this resistor, and then to the coil +.

Are you going to run points or a duraspark II? If you are looking for a duraspark II, you can know if you have one of these because it will be electronic, and still have a vacuum line connection.

smog inspection...who's that? heh. Well...I got the solenoid wires done...there's another green wire fusible link that goes somewhere on the solenoid. i have the red and white from the box wired up with the mopar ballast resister in place. I have the wires hooked to the coil. there is still however numerous other wires i dont know where to place and also with the points the reason is...i'm selling the truck, the duraspark distributor is a pos and the points one is great. will that wiring diagram print fullsize when i print it btw?

I do not think that it will print out full but if you email me your email address I will email it to you.

Also here is two diagrams of the 1985 wiring system, they may help you.

If you are going to run points, there will be lots of wires you will not need. Get the ignition switch hot in run wire to the resistor and then to the coil +, and get the starter relay(solenoid) hooked up so it will crank, and it should fire right up if you get the fuel thing figured out.

Right, and don't forget to change the fuel pump.
