Newb to 7.3L
Well I've been lurking around this place seeing if I really wanted to take the step and I'm prowd to say I drove home my 97 XL Crew Cab 7.3L, 5sp last night. This baby is bone stock, 116,000mi, was used as the boat hauling rig by the Survey company I work for. She has a few bumps on the outside but nothing major.
So I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who, without even knowing, converted/convinced me. Becides I really couldn't pass it up for $7,500 smackers.

awesome! everyone is excited when they get a new truck. i know i was, since it was my first vehicle. snap some pics of that bad boy, and make a gallery for us all to see! be careful though- the guys here will give you a disease called PMS (Powerstroke Mod Syndrome), in other terms it is emptywalletitis, or maxedoutcreditcarditis.
