I posted this in the fuel forum several months back but never came up with anything so I thought I'd try here:
I'm looking for a new fuel selector valve. The current valve works fine but I need to be able to run a larger line for adequate flow. Does anyone know of ANY brand or model fuel tank selector valves that have a 1/2"-5/8" inlet and outlets? 3/8" is the largest I've found. I was wondering if some bigger trucks might have used an electric switched valve but in my searches I haven't come up with anything and Napa's site isn't much help (nor are their parts counter guys). Thanks!
I'm trying to keep it an electric valve as I have to have a selector valve for my return line to the tanks too, so when I switch tanks the return switches to that tank as well instead of over flowing 1 tank. I was hoping to be able to set this up so I can run regular in one tank and premium in the other so when I use nitrous or want to run my timing more advanced I can just flip a switch but for regular driving I can use the "cheap" stuff. Thanks for the links Dennis, I'm still checking the Coax site.
Parker makes/supplies hoses and all sorts of related fittings, etc etc. Maybe they have a valve that's along the line of what yu're looking for (?). Just a thought.
I still can't find one that's electric. Most everything that uses that size of line has both tanks linked, so no switching valve. Have you looked into air-operated? Mcmaster-Carr has both 1/2" and 5/8" air actuated three way valves, a little pricey, though.
