99 engine level motor
I have been hearing a motor sound when I put my truck into gear. I know the engine levels off when that happens and I belive that it is related. How do I quite down that leveling motor.

You must be talking about the load level system. This does not level your engine, it levels your truck. On a 4wd vehicle equipped with LLS, you have air shocks up front and air springs in the rear. On a 2wd with LLS, you only have the rear air springs. What you hear is the compressor. There is a mounting kit available for this that will make the compressor quieter. Search in this forum for LLS and compressor, or someone may replay with the part number for the kit.
