Have you had the motor running already and now it's time to fine tune? Start with gettin gthe timing set up, then go from there. Refresh my memory, where you're located, that will affect your timing of course....
I'd start with, oh, 15 degrees initial, and see if you can set your distributor for 24 degrees mechanical advance. Total should be somewhere around 38 degrees, all in by around 3000rpm. That's where I have my distributor set anyway. That cam does like more initial timing to get it to idle smooth. Use the vacuum advance if you have it.
Timing is one of those things you kind of have to play around with. Every motor is a little different.
