I'm about to get an F150 SuperCrew, and the only one the dealer has been able to find that has the options I want also has the class III towing package (which I don't care about). I'm wondering if anyone out there has an opinion about how the heavy duty shock absorbers will affect the ride quality of what will usually be an unloaded truck?
The tires you pick will make more of a differance than the towing package(regarding ride quality). The package will also help your resale value. Take it and enjoy it.
I was going to mention the same thing as ultramagdon mentioned. If anything it improves handling, and hardens the ride a tad. I wouldn't buy a truck without it today whether or not I planned to tow with the truck. Good luck...
BTW, I have to move this topic to 1997 and new trucks.
