I have a '78 f-150 4x4. I am getting 15"x8" Mickey Thompson wheels and 33"x12.5" BF Goodrich mud terrain tires. I don't know how much room, if any, I will have in the fenders after adding the big tires. I think that truck came with a 3 inch lift. Do you think I'll have enough room? Thanks.
If the truck has a 3 in lift already then you will be fine, but if it is stock height you will need to put some lift under it to keep the front wheels from rubbing
i have a 79 f-150 and it looks really good iwth a 3 in. body lift which is the way to go for a little cheap lift around 100 bucks and isnt too hard and i got 33 *12.50's on it it looks just right witht the fenders and everything
I have a 78 F150 with a 3" susp. lift on top of the factory lift. I have 33x12.5x15's on it and have no problems. (I did just buy a Performance Products 3" body lift on ebay for $70 cuz I want bigger tires.)
I ended up leaving the stock lift and getting 32x11.5 bfg all-terrains and 15x8 pacer wheels. It looks awesome. Thanks everybody.
Look for my gallery I'm working on to see 'em.
