speed calibration

speed calibration
I have come to learn that I can not get a tunner for my truck ( a 95 f150 4wd ) I can only get a plug in module with a fixed program. I am planning on changing my tire size (up to 35's) and want to know if there is any way to calibrate the speedo? Can ford do this, or is there another way?

check with your local dealer. they might be able to plug in and change it on your truck

The chips cannot change the speedometer for your year. Dealer or Superlift Truspeed.

Thanks motorhaven. In that year of truck, how important is it to have the speed calibrated for the tranny/computer to perform properly?

If by perform properly you mean shifting correctly, its not going to be a problem.
