I have a 302 I'm rebuilding and the bolck was cast from 87 to 91 and I want to put it in a foxbody Mustang when I'm done. Will it bolt into any fowbody of just certain years.

yes it will bolt right in

 

Yes, it will bolt to the transmission, however you will have to change the oil pan to a dual sump and the oil pickup. You will also probably have to change over the engine mounts; not speaking of the rubber motor mounts, but the steal mount bracket coming out of the engine that the rubber mount hooks to.

 

You *might* have to change over to the Mustang TB/intake mani as well.

The truck version is taller, I believe. Of course, if that is really the case, get a cowl induction hood then.
