I just bought a 72 convertible, 302 v8
Rough round the edges but should be able to get it on the road for next summer
Can anyone recommend a good forum ?

Stangnet.com is ok. A little juvenile but ok. I got all of the parts I needed from Mustangs Unlimited. When I made my first order I saved up and made a large first order ($3000). I talked to the sales guy and got a wholesale buyer discount. It then applied to the rest of my purchases. Give it a try.
Owned a '79 Mustang 302 4 spd Cobra (new, factory ordered) and a '79 302 4 spd Capri RS. Would not recommend the Fox body mustang as a reliable car. Cable clutch, stupid serpentine belt crap, put me off new cars forever, never owned another. Best thing about them was the 302.
However, I would trade in my 16 yr old (firstborn) son in a heartbeat for an '07 Shelby.
Any takers?

Had a 1984 GT350 20th anniversary edition Mustang but my ex tricked me into trading it off. So now I got rid of the ex and am looking for another Mustang.
i got an 83 f 100 and a 66 coupe. drive the 83 but the mustang has a burned out trans now and is in storage, but i just bought a 76 granada for parts for it. my 66 has a 351/c4 in it im gonna put the 250/c4 from the granada in it, and the disc brakes. a 351 is just too much weight on the front end, i got like 7 degrees of negative caster. and front drum brakes suk! but i love the car and gatto get it back on the road soon. they just dont make em like that anymore.
