I have an F250 4X4 super cab with a 5.4 liter and was wondering how can I get a good sound exhaust system. I have one catilic converter and only 6000 miles on my truck. I cut the exhaust off at the converter and i am running without any mufflers at the present time.

Does anyone know what an echo box is and what it will do for me?

I have a 5.4 F250 with a magnaflow XL muffler on it. slightly better then stock. Haven't heard of an echo box? How does it sound with out a muffler?

 

LOUD!!!!!! but a little tinny, so I am looking into a echo box, I am told it will make the sound deeper. Right now it sounds like a racing truck, I also have a K&N filter and it has picked up my horse power as well.

 

I have a '05 F250 w/5.4 and IMCO Pro series SI/DO installed and I really like it. Deep, throaty and a bit on the loud side but not obnoxious. The Flowmaster 40 series sounds really good on these engines too.

 

i put a flowmaster 40 series on my 05 f250 sd xlt and i love it.

the sound is real deep and loud. everyone can hear you coming and it sets off some car alarms. had flowmaster 50 series on my f150 and those perform good as well but it is not as load.

All depends on what you are looking for.
